Car Hire - Río Gallegos Airport (RGL)

All additional drivers must meet all rental requirements.
Additional drivers must appear at the rental counter with the primary renter.
Additional drivers must sign the rental agreement.
An additional daily fee may apply for any Additional Drivers.

The additional driver can only be added to the contract at the pick up location.

After Hours Returns
This location offers After Hours Returns. During the after hours return, please park the vehicle in a safe and secure designated parking space on the airport property and place the keys in the Express return box, located next to our branch inside the airport.
Make sure that the vehicle is locked and ensure that you have gathered all personal belongings before leaving. The renter's responsibility for the vehicle and rental charges ends once an employee inspects the vehicle. We will email the receipt to you with all the final charges on the same day that we receive your return.
No additional charges apply for returns outside of the opening hours.

Minimum age to rent a vehicle is 21, and the maximum rental age is 75 years.
Drivers between the ages of 21 and 24 will incur an additional daily fee.

The rental vehicles must be used within Argentina, not being able to cross to neighboring countries.

Delivery and Collection not available. customer can pre-arrange pick-up and drop off of vehicle in advance
 
Pick-Up/drop off is available at a cost of $5.00 for 0-5 KM.

Pick-Up/drop off is available at a cost of $10.00 for 6-15 KM.
 
Pick-Up/Drop off is not available beyond 15 KM.

All one way rentals must be booked in advance and are subject to availability. One way charges apply and are payable at time of rental. One way charges cannot be prepaid.

There is an minimum length of rental of 4 days for one ways picking up in one city and dropping off in another city. For reservations booked within the same city there is no MLR.

The Collision Damage Waiver and Theft Protection (CDW-TP) coverage is not insurance. Purchasing CDW-TP is optional and not mandatory to rent a vehicle. If you purchase CDW-TP, the rental company agrees—subject to the actions listed in the rental agreement that void the CDW-TP—to contractually waive your responsibility for the costs of damage and/or theft, after applying a deductible of up to USD 4,500. In the case of total loss and/or vehicle rollover, there will be a deductible up to USD 9,000, depending on the vehicle class.

Please note that most insurance policies purchased outside of Argentina do not provide coverage in Argentina. Local rental office employees are not qualified to assess the suitability of personal insurance or Travel Assistance plans customers may purchase to cover the vehicle. The customer must contact their insurance provider before the rental pickup date and address any questions regarding the relevant coverage.

As a customer, you have a choice as to how you would like to pay for fuel.

Option 1- We Refill
This option allows the renter to pay Enterprise at the end of the rental for gas used but not replaced. Price per gallon will be higher than local fuel prices. A 40% surcharge will apply.

Option 2- You Refill
This option allows the renter to return the vehicle with a full tank of gas to avoid extra fuel charges.

All major debit and credit cards, issued by either American Express, Mastercard and Visa, are accepted. All cards presented must be in the renter's name. Digital cards (Apple Pay/Google Pay etc.), travellers' cheques, prepaid cards and retail shop cards are not accepted as methods of payment. Cash and debit cards can be used to settle any outstanding balances at the end of the hire. A security deposit plus the estimated cost of the hire will be taken at the time of hire. The deposit is 600 USD for the categories Mini, Economy, Compact, Intermediate and Standard, and 1,500 USD for the categories Full Size, Premium and Compact SUV. For the categories Intermediate SUV, Premium SUV and Pickup, the deposit is 2,200 USD.

Must meet the location's minimum age requirements.

Present a valid driver's license from country of origin.

International drivers must provide a valid license from their country of residence. In addition to the drivers license, if the characters are not in English or Latin characters, an international drivers permit is recommended. If the drivers license is in characters other than Latin, an International permit is required or a Notarized English Translation is accepted.

Present a major credit card in renter's name at the time of rental.

This location accepts notarized Chinese Drivers License.

Third Party Liability (TPL) is included in the time and mileage rate. TPL covers damages and injuries to third parties under the local rental car company's insurance (according to law N* 24449  and its corresponding regulations), and provides you with liability coverage for all accident-related expenses not pertaining to passengers of a third party vehicle and for damages to third party vehicles, up to the policy limits, subject to the actions listed on the rental agreement that invalidate TPL.
